Summer is definitely here. It went from being a nice 80 something degrees to over 100 on a daily basis.
I am aware that I can be a wee bit ridiculous about Bailey, but I have to share a picture of her. We're on year three of trying to get her to enjoy going swimming with us. Note: Mike would like me to point out that the word "we" here is really just me. Anyhow, I'm not sure Bailey is digging this particular swimming session.
But she's still really cute!

I already knew I had the cutest nephews ever, but when they walked in on Christmas day like this... oh and when Micah says Uncle Mike over and over and over I turn into a huge puddle of mush. I love their outfits and had to share!

Our trip to the Bahamas was amazing. It's really probably one of the coolest things we've EVER done. EVER. It would not have been nearly as fun if we hadn't gone with Tyler and Ashley & Matt and Ashley. We took too many pictures and videos with our new Olympus underwater camera thing, so I'm going to try to keep it short and not bore you to death. First the still photos.
Atlantis is a huge waterpark/casino/resort. Here's me and Mike in a double tube waiting in line to go on another waterslide.
They have a very very long lazy river with many different paths to take. One of them leads you to a conveyor belt. You don't even have to get out of your tube and this belt will take you back to the top of the tower to ride another slide. We really didn't out of the tube for hours at a time. The views are incredible.

Going in off season is a smart idea, it was still warm but not busy at all. Here's Matt being silly.
Our hotel was INSANE. Mike can we have a house like this? I love it!

We went snorkeling one day. More on that in a minute. But here's Matt and Tyler.

When we snorkeling,we snatched turkey dogs from lunch and took them to go feed the fish. We were getting lots of little fish, but then this red one scared me. He came from out of nowhere. Just watch the hotdog and you'll find him. There was also what we think was a horseshoe crab down in the same little hangout, but didn't get close enough to find out.
Mike managed to record a waterslide. Sorry the steadiness is not fantastic, but it was a slide and in water. Just don't watch if you get motion sick.
The lazy river I mentioned - it's not all that lazy.

There is tons more from our trip, but I don't want to bore you. I would highly recommend this resort for families and trips with friends. It was so nice to go on a vacation with no laptop! I really wish we were back there now.

Melody: Rachel, I was very touched by this...and by your kindness. I received a package in the mail, and the envelope had been torn to shreds. Inside was CD´s you sent of our shoot together. Thank you for doing that for me. Thinking of you fondly, and wishing we could do our Pilates together...=-)
